i’ve always liked having a black background for two reasons.

1. it uses less power.
2. it makes the rest of the site easier to read.

on my mac the borders look funny, but at work on the dell lcd everything looks better. i think the color settings on my mac are just effed up. i really like the layout of this site so i didn’t really want to change it, but the color settings in the css are numerous. i may adjust the borders if i find it to bug me but i think they’re ok for now.
