i’ve ridden one out of three days of the commuter challenge. yesterday was wet and windy and just generally miserable. today’s forecast was thunderstorms and high winds. so far we’ve had what feels like 15mph winds. neither of these conditions make cycling pleasant. it’s supposed to clear up tomorrow and be partly cloudy and warmer tomorrow and through next week. i really wanted to bike in every day but i knew it wasn’t going to happen. i just want one 100 mile week though. just to do it. maybe next week is that week.

really not feeling like being at work today. it feels like friday, but tomorrow is friday. and i have meetings in the morning. i’m contemplating taking the afternoon off. not sure if that’s a very good use of vacation time though. we’ll see. i might take monday since it’s supposed to be the warmest day next week.
