so my webhost decided to initiate a huge, customer impacting server migration and thought we might not notice if they didn’t tell us.- well technically they said something in their forums, but i don’t read them.- because they’re never updated.- a mail would have been nice.
both mine and tessa’s databases were lost.- then recovered.- but they couldn’t rebuild them in the new server location.- so i got access to the old location, backed up the dbs, then restored them myself.- not hard, but still a pain in the ass and not something i should have had to do.
i need a new webhost.- the hunt begins.
