saturday night we went to the High Dive in fremont to see Head Like a Kite. they were pretty awesome. the band that played before them, Christopher Blue, were also very enjoyable. i’m bad at describing music so just go to their respective sites and take a listen. you probably won’t be disappointed. and i you are, you probably hate music. also at the High Dive i was pawed by a 30-something drunk lady. when i say pawed i mean leaned on and touched lightly on the arm. nothing fancy, just a little intrusive. i thought it was hilarious. tessa was not amused. i don’t even remember what she was talking about but it was inane and i didn’t really care. when she was done talking her and her boyfriend, who was sitting there the whole time, got up to go dance and bumped the table almost spilling my beer all over me and my brand new phone. that wasn’t cool. we moved after that. here are some photos of HLAK.

so my phone. i got a Samsung d807. it’s a slider. the holy union of the clamshell and the candy bar. the keypad slides away when you don’t need it, and the screen is still out so you can see stuff. it’s actually slightly longer and wider than my old phone, but it’s also about half as thick. it slides into my pocket and i hardly notice it. i’ve only had it a couple days but i like it quite a bit. it has nice bluetooth and mp3 playback so i can cut up mp3s and make them ring-tones. i can assign them to individual contacts so there’s a very good chance i’ve got something obnoxious picked out for you.

i thought it was funny
