we’re going hiking today. things didn’t work out for camping this weekend so we’re just going to go on a day hike. we’re going to Heather Lake. some people in the review said their fat old dog made it without too much trouble so i figure i could make it too. this will be the first time i’m actually going to use these hiking boots i have for hiking. my parents got them for me years ago at the hi-tec outlet near their house for really cheap; and so far all i’ve used them for is being a parking lot painter. so they’re broke in… they’re really comfy, and the only reason i don’t wear them more often is because they’re brown hiking boots. they’re kinda ugly, and now covered with paint. so this probably means i should hike more. to justify the purchase. it’ll be good to get outside and be away from the beach.
