so i went to the race last night. it was a fucking blast. here is the route we took. if you look at the start it begins at red square, and goes all the way to fremont on 45th. try to imagine 25 bikes just storm off the campus onto 45th and just take it up all the way to aurora.
each stop we had to down either beer or coffee. the coffee stops were harder. one stop we had to climb to the top of queen anne. that was a coffee stop. it hurt. i came in 15th, i think. i got a prize, it’s a timbuk2 strap pouch that’s perfectly sized for the camera i want. it’s a sign. i need a camera. tearing around seattle on a bike, mildly intoxicating is a really good time. i highly reccomend it. i met some cool people, i got to know my town a bit better, and i was out on my bike in absolutely georgeous weather. seattle really doesn’t get any better than that.
