the way movabletype works is that a configurable number of days of posts are shown on the page. so every day that threshold moves up a day and more posts drop off display. it almost feels like that photo in Back to the Future. and if i accidentally hook up with my mom-from-the-past i’ll cease to exist and NO POSTS will show up.

this morning at the office: classic rock hits from the late 80s to the mid 90s. when rock really did rock.

i got a marmot oracle rain jacket the other day. i even got it in that grey/mineral color. i didn’t think there would be a day when i was wearing performance outerwear in bright colors like that but it actually looks good. and since it’s not completely grey i’d have some ammo for the insurance company if i got hit by a car while walking around downtown.

i’m taking friday off to go visit my grandparents. i never take time off. i never go visit my grandparents. the latter because of the former. i’m just busy on the weekend that i don’t want to spend two and a half hours in the car. but i haven’t been down there in a while, so i’m doing myself a favor and not going to work on friday to go see them. although this means i’ll probably miss hardcore honky tonk friday at the office. because sometimes you do have to enjoy listening to johnny cash and waylon jennings.
