so i bought a car today. another dealer ended up giving me the same price as bremerton, only with more options. silver instead of black, but at least it won’t show dirt as bad. as soon as i got in i knew i had to get it. the seat just wraps around you and keeps you stable as you’re driving. the interior is really nice looking, all clean lines and such. it’s honestly like driving a super-jetta. i sat in the backseat for a minute, and while i wouldn’t want to ride cross country in it, i could stand a few hours. my only real beef was that the clutch is really grabby. it makes hills interesting. i’ll get used to it. it’s been a while since i’ve driven a manual regularly, so the first few weeks will be fun. i read some review from an automag that said while it does have a turbo lag, when it spins up it’s like a kick in the pants, and man were they right. i got a good feel for what it would be like to drive around town in the test drive, being about an hour after rush hour. so i didn’t really get to stretch it out, but there’s plenty of time for that. i take delivery tomorrow or sunday, i’ll post pictures once i have it.
