Illinois Pharmacist hypocrite and complete dumbass – reuters

there are illinois state laws requiring pharmacists to dispense the morning after pill. this guy won’t do it because he says it terminates a pregnancy. except for the part about the stuff in Plan B is the same chemical that is in a number of other contraceptives that he probably sells. i’m not quite clear on the federal law surrounding this mostly because when you try to do internet research you just get articles about the debate, not the facts. i am aware of some pending bills that will require pharmacists to dispense medication no matter what. i’ve read from a number of sources describing the pharmacist’s position as a dispassionate dispenser; meaning they operate like a vending machine. i think the illinois gov has the right idea with requiring pharmacies to pick a side; stock all contraceptives, or don’t.

anyway, i should post more. i’ve had some new ideas to make this place more interesting. but i have another project i need to finish first. so maybe a couple weeks before we see any big changes here. but stay tuned! i’m not dead!
