Billy Corgan has a new album coming out on June 21. the only reason i know this is because i happened to go to the itunes web page and see that there was an exclusive pre-release song available on the itunes store. and the only reason i bought the song was because i had a free song i got when i went to the Tiger party at the apple store by my house.

holy crap the song is good.

it has that distinctive Corgan sound that’s very similar to the Pumpkins, but different. i think mostly because he’s using a lot more synth and electronic equipment than back in the day. and because Jimmy Chamberlain isn’t the drummer. say what you will about Jimmy, but i don’t think the Pumpkins sounded as good without him. so i’m buying this album when it comes out, hard copy. i’m also very likely going to see the band when they come to the moore on July 18. you should come with me. we’ll dress like we did in high school and get all angsty and pretend everyone doesn’t understand us.
